Mittal and Mr. Shalaj Mittal, who have inherited the basics and ethics of book business (including publishing, distribution, export and import) from (Late) Khazan Chand Mittal, who entered into the book-trade in pre-Independence era.

After founding D.K. Agencies in 1968, Mr. Jaswant Rai Mittal worked dedicatedly to make the company be known by its name in the field of supply of South Asian publications the world-over. During this period his sons, Mr. Surya P. Mittal and Mr. Shalaj Mittal , have been instrumental in introduction of state-of-the-art technology in practising business.
